SimplyBiz Group launches researched fund lists, powered by Defaqto

The SimplyBiz Group has announced it is making a collection of multi and single-asset researched fund lists, powered by Defaqto, available exclusively to its member firms.

The research is based on robust quantitative measures such as performance, costs and volatility along with in depth analysis, including Defaqto Diamond Ratings, Fund Reviews and ESG Reviews. The research is continuously monitored by an Independent Investment Committee and updated quarterly.

The researched fund lists are available both within Centra, the Group’s end-to-end advice tool, which enables users to seamlessly link investment research with goals based planning and suitability reports, and through its newly redesigned Investment Services website.

Dan Russell, Managing Director of Distribution Solutions for The SimplyBiz Group, commented:

“Our job is to provide the advisers we serve with the ability to choose from the very best supply chain of solutions in order to help them achieve excellent outcomes for their customers in a compliant and profitable way. This exclusive service combines the market-leading research and fintech capability of Defaqto with the regulatory and business services expertise of SimplyBiz, ensuring advisers who use services provided by The SimplyBiz Group have access to the foremost investment research and advice technology in the UK as part of their membership.”
